Finding American Studies Programs
In the United States, more than 300 colleges and universities offer undergraduate programs in American Studies. A nearly comprehensive list of these programs can be found using the College MatchMaker, run by the College Board, and searching for "American Studies" programs. In the United Kingdom, about 80 programs are offered in the field at various levels; rankings, using differing methodology, can be found here and here.
American Studies Journals
A wide variety of American Studies journals are published around the world each year. Some of the most noted include the American Quarterly, aspeers: emerging voices in american studies, the European Journal of American Studies, and the Journal of American Studies.
